Please join the Hingham Historical Society for a conversation with esteemed historian, two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, and neighbor David McCullough describing his approach to researching and writing history. Author of ten books including John Adams, Truman, The Wright Brothers, The American Spirit and National Book Award Winners The Path Between the Seas and Mornings on Horseback, David McCullough will share insights and answer questions about his work and the art and craft of historical research and writing. An intimate gathering in the Museum’s third floor Derby Reading Room will be followed by a delightful supper downstairs in the Ballroom with Mr. McCullough and his family. The Hingham Historical Society and Mr. McCullough share a deep commitment to history and education. A portion of your ticket price underwrites local history teachers, research librarians, and students as guests to join the conversation.
