Thank you for visiting our website (the “Site”). If you want to use the Site, you must agree to conform to and be legally bound by these Terms of Use.  By using the Site, you accept these Terms of Use.

All copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Site and its contents are owned by the Hingham Historical Society.  You understand and agree that your use of the Site is limited and non-exclusive as a nontransferable revocable licensee. We may terminate your license to use our Site and deny you access to our Site for any reason and without giving you notice.

Except where otherwise specified, you may view, copy and print the Site contents only for your own use and provided that all copies and print-outs of Site contents bear the copyright and other proprietary notices or disclaimers displayed on them on the Site. You agree not to make any other copies or reproductions or to quote from or publish any content from the Site without our written permission.  Any requests to copy, reproduce, quote from or publish Site contents must be submitted to the Executive Director at the email or U.S. mail address provided below.

If you are below the age of 18, you may use our website only with the permission and active involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you are a minor, please do not provide us or other website visitors with any personal information.

Compliance with Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

You agree to obey all applicable laws while using the Site. You agree that these Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. If any part of these Terms of Use is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that part shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remainder of these terms and conditions are fully enforceable and legally binding.
