Get Hip With History:
Who am I?

Are you looking for a summer fun project for children?  We are inviting children to become “Historical Characters” for a guess “Who Am I?” game!  Children are invited to take on the persona of a historical character they admire or find interesting and transform themselves into that person for a 60 second video.

Their costumes can be made from things you have around the house – hats, scarves, jewelry, pots and pans, cardboard… really anything that you and your family can find.  Grandparents might be very helpful here!  For 60 seconds they will impersonate or tell the story of their character — but never actually say who they are.  At the end of the video they will ask “Who Am I?” and viewers will try to guess.  (The answers WILL be available!)  The videos will be shown on Hingham Historical Society’s YouTube channel, Instagram and Facebook pages.

This is open to all children.  You do not need to be a member of HHS for your child to participate, although we’d love it if you’d consider joining us!  You do not need to live in Hingham and the character can be anyone in global history.
